Cenka Iwanowa – Associate Professor, PhD, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
Co-founder of the Slavonic Philology at the university. Since 2005, she has been the head of the Department of Slavoic Studies. She served as Deputy Director and then Director of the International Bulgarian Center. From 2001 to 2005, she was a teacher of Bulgarian language and culture at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Niš (Serbia). Since the 2012-2013 academic year, she has been a lecturer at the University of Belgrade. Research interests: theory and history of literary South Slavonic languages, contacts of Slavonic languages (mainly South Slavonic languages), sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, foreign Bulgarian studies.
